History

BLANOZ started in 2003 as BLANOZ DISTRUSOZ, a musical project of ATI and SULTAN, and soon developped into an all-star-jam-session band with performances including many undergound artists from hip-hop and electro scene as guest stars.

Memorable appearances followed, with Dru Klein, Vexxatu Vexx, Pacha Man, raku or MC Agent on the mic as well as members of other drum’n’bass and electro acts.

Two recorded studio-rehearsals "made their way" to fans and run free on internet since. But it was the show they put up on the second edition of FANFEST on 26th august 2005 that stands as birthcertificate of the line-up in which MC BEAN joined "by accident". It was this formula that recorded some of the greatest Blanoz songs, such as TE PROVOC (engl. DARE U) or JUMATATE TU JUMATATE NU (also, the first BLANOZ video, groundbreaking production, uprising level).

Currently, BLANOZ has the following members:
Ionut G - synth/fx/keys
Melak - percussions
Mandela - synth bass
Ati de Chile - drums
MC Agent
Palomino - flute; sax

In this formula, active since the start of 2009, Blanoz appeared on a variety of stages around the country, starting with Parkfest and followed by other live appearences at events and locations such as Iarmaroc Fest, Irish & Music Pub Cluj, or Forest Vibe (wich also represented the first live concert for Mandela in Blanoz).

Blanoz continues to be an electro-acoustical musical project which opens it's doors to anyone who has a consistent message for the drum'n'bass scene. Each guest-star brings his or her own contribution and personality into the jam-sessions wich represent a foundation for the future BLANOZ recordings.
